Muja was born in London, but spent most of his life in Hull. He considers himself a hybrid of the south and north of England, incorporating musical styles in much of the same way. He started DJing when he was a kid, but gave it up after he sold his equipment to pay for is first trip to Asia (Vietnam). He came to China in 2008, and started DJing again in 2009 when he realised he wasnt hearing enough of the music he liked in clubs.
