This friday @ LOgO, come for a rock concert and stay for a Reggae-ragga party.
The ROAN
group has so far released four albums and the best hits’ record. Their first record called “Fire” appeares in 1995 produced by SPV Poland Company. The journalists are very interested in this record. It turns out a big commercial success.
In 1996 the group ROAN records their best single: ‘The winter time’.
In 1997 ROAN edits the second record called ‘Sugar’ in Zic Zac Company.The group takes part in a lot of concerts and festivals for example Sopot Festival, Open Air in Wacken (Germany).
In 1998 Roan signs the contract with BMG Poland Company and edits ‘Denis Rodman Club’ record. The group flies to the USA and gives there a few stage concerts. The clip ‘The night smoke’ is recorded on the streets of New York. Later the song is played during Opole Festival.
In 2001 ROAN releases the fourth album called ‘The whole day the whole time’ produced by EMI Pomaton Company. The best known song from this album called ‘Majkrofon’ is presented on The premiere concert during Opole Festival. The clip is recorded in Las Vegas and LA where the group spends their holidays.
In 2005 a mix album ‘The best of Roan 1995-2005’ is released. The album contains two new songs.
The clip to the song ‘At the edge’ is nominated to Yach Film Award 2006.
ROAN gives many concerts together with other well-known groups like Big Cyc, Formacja NS, De mono, Smokie and Brain Storm.
In April 2006 the band is invited to China, where it gives four concerts in Shanghai and Ningbo. They record a film which tells the story of their Chinese adventure. It becomes a basis for a clip to the song ‘All that you feel’. In May 2006 the group releases a new clip to the song ‘The mail from City B’ from album called ‘Bydgoszcz Songs’. The producer of this clip is Yach Paskiewicz.
At the end of 2006 the 4 record album ‘The Best Christmas… Ever!’ Pomaton / EMI is released containing a hit song ‘This Wintertime’.
At present the band is working on a completely new album with new sounds. The new album is about to be released in this year. ROAN are also planning a new tour of China.
