Pressed Productions brings you the 3rd installment of Basic Needs… Basic Needs #3 – ‘Back to the Garage!’
Playing at Shanghai’s rawest music venue, Logo, the BN DJ’s will be bringing you fresh upfront house music. This month we welcome Miami’s Santo Chino to the decks to kick off a night of genuine oldskool house & garage.
Santo Chino offers you a special night of unique pioneering sounds, with 80’s deep disco dubs & moody garage house loops.
UK’s finest, Larry Lemont will follow with his classic vinyl New York & Chicago Garage sound…with a bit of UK thrown in too.
Basic Needs resident, Mr. Alexander Hahn will then round it off with his ‘tweaked & turned’, updated Tech-House Minimal Beats into the early hours…
The Wall will display Shanghai-based Dutch native and award winner, Bas Roeterink’s latest short documentaries on Alternative Shanghai Residents, as well as the iconic garage house music movie ‘Maestro’ – an education on garage house music’s movements from its roots in the late 70’s and early 80’s in the underground clubs of New York City.
So, for something a little more stripped down make quality music your Basic Needs!
