Ben Houge has topsy-turvied his experimental sound into unabashed live synthesizer pop. You saw him in a tuxedo at Yuyintang, you saw him rocking Zhujiajiao with the Antidote festival, and now he’s bringing his electric piano and original vocals to Logo this Wednesday.

Following Mr. Houge, we’ll have San Francisco’s SAFETY SCISSORS, who’s brought rare 12″ gems of Italo Disco, quirky Berlin house, and other groovy stuff you haven’t heard in Shanghai before. Safety Scissors is a veteran player in the San Francisco and Berlin music scenes, has played festivals from Spain to Serbia to Jerusalem, and got props and plays from John Peel.
